Imperial Artillery Division
The Artillery Division delivers long-range fire support and planetary bombardment capability to the Imperial Army. It softens enemy defenses, suppresses resistance, and provides devastating cover fire for advancing ground forces.
Role
Artillery units serve as the backbone of major offensives and defensive operations. They excel at breaking fortified positions, destroying enemy armor concentrations, and providing sustained bombardment across wide battlefronts.
Equipment
The Division fields a wide array of weapons including the SPHA-T (Self-Propelled Heavy Artillery), UT-AT (All Terrain Armored Transport in artillery configuration), heavy missile launchers, proton torpedo batteries, mobile turbolasers, and various tracked and repulsorlift artillery platforms. These systems allow for both precision strikes and area saturation bombardment.
Organization
Artillery forces are organized into batteries, battalions, and regiments that can be attached to larger Army formations as needed. They work closely with Armor, Infantry, and Engineering units to create powerful combined arms task forces.
Status
