Imperial Military Police Division
The Military Police Division maintains discipline, enforces military law, secures rear areas, handles prisoner control, and performs anti-riot duties within the Imperial Army.
Role
Military Police units prevent desertion, investigate crimes, guard supply depots, manage prisoner of war camps, and suppress civil disturbances. They are frequently called upon to quell riots and restore order on occupied or restive worlds. They also provide security for high-value assets and VIPs.
Organization
The Division operates independent MP battalions and companies that can be attached to larger Army formations as needed. They work closely with the Imperial Security Bureau and COMPNOR when dealing with internal threats or civilian unrest.
Status
Though less glamorous than combat divisions, the Military Police Division is essential for maintaining the efficiency, loyalty, and internal security of the Imperial Army. Their firm hand ensures that both soldiers and occupied populations remain under control.
