The Education Group

The Education Group is the Coalition's political and professional authority on the civic purpose of learning. It reports upon educational conditions, promotes an accurate understanding of Imperial history and institutions, and organizes educators, families, students, employers, and scholars in support of the New Order.

Responsibilities

• Report upon educational conditions and civic understanding through the Sector Monitors.
• Develop materials explaining Imperial institutions, history, rights, duties, and the principles of the New Order.
• Support teacher exchanges, libraries, technical instruction, adult education, and recovery in underserved territories.
• Identify instruction that perpetuates separatism, species hatred, historical falsification, or contempt for lawful government.
• Evaluate public understanding of major reforms and recommend improvements to the Ministry of Education and local authorities.

Imperial and Local Instruction

The Empire contains thousands of cultures, languages, faiths, and historical traditions. The Group supports rigorous common civic knowledge without requiring the erasure of legitimate local inheritance. It distinguishes the honest study of regional history from instruction designed to revive division or excuse crimes committed against the Empire and its citizens.

Institutional Boundaries

The Ministry of Education sets policy, establishes standards, and administers the Imperial academy system. The Group does not certify teachers or impose curriculum by its own authority, but its reports, campaigns, professional networks, and recommendations carry substantial influence. Material indicating criminal subversion is referred to the ISB or competent authority.

Education for Citizenship

The New Order requires citizens capable of skilled work, disciplined judgment, and informed service. Education must prepare them not merely to recite the forms of government, but to understand why galactic unity must be preserved and what duties that preservation places upon them.
