Sub-Adult Group Education

SAGEducation, commonly shortened to SAGEd, is the instructional branch of the Sub-Adult Group. It gives young members the knowledge, technical competence, and political understanding expected of citizens prepared to defend and administer the New Order.

Program of Instruction

• Imperial history, the Charter, public institutions, citizenship, rights, and duties.
• The causes and costs of separatism, corruption, factional paralysis, and civil war.
• Communications, first aid, navigation, engineering fundamentals, logistics, public speaking, and administration.
• Visits to courts, legislatures, ministries, public works, academies, military installations, and scientific institutions.
• Practical service in which members apply instruction under supervision.

Method

SAGEd expects mastery rather than slogan alone. Members must be able to explain why galactic unity, lawful authority, discipline, and public service sustain peace. Questions, debate, and the testing of evidence are encouraged within a course of instruction openly committed to the Empire and the principles of the New Order.

Relationship to Schools

SAGEd supplements the Imperial school system and awards no ordinary academic qualification unless separately accredited. It coordinates with schools and the Ministry of Education while adapting instruction for age, species, accessibility, language, and local conditions.

Preparation for Service

Senior members receive examinations, counseling, recommendations, and preparatory instruction for universities, technical institutes, the civil service, COMPNOR, CompForce, military academies, and voluntary enlistment. SAGEd neither binds a minor to future service nor guarantees admission, appointment, or commission.
