The Sub-Adult Group

The Sub-Adult Group, commonly known as SAG or SAGroup, is COMPNOR's voluntary, uniformed youth organization. It forms disciplined, capable, and loyal citizens through civic instruction, organized service, physical training, fieldcraft, recreation, and preparation for adult responsibility.

Membership and Formation

Membership is organized through local chapters with the consent required by family and planetary law. Age cohorts advance through published standards of knowledge, conduct, fitness, leadership, and service. Participation is voluntary and is not a legal condition of schooling, citizenship, public employment, or military appointment; nevertheless, a distinguished SAG record is widely respected by academies, COMPNOR offices, the civil service, and the Armed Forces.

• SAGEducation teaches Imperial institutions, history, public duty, technical skill, and the political principles of the New Order.
• SAGRecreation develops fitness, endurance, field competence, teamwork, and competitive discipline.
• Motivation maintains standards, corrects failure, and restores members to reliable participation.
• Recruitment expands the movement, establishes chapters, and identifies future leaders.

Service Pathways

SAG is the Empire's broadest school of organized civic service. Older members are actively prepared for the civil service, COMPNOR administration, CompForce, military academies, technical institutes, and voluntary enlistment. The organization recommends qualified members and helps them compete, but it cannot promise appointment or commission.

Discipline and Safeguards

Chapters use drill, inspections, rank responsibility, team exercises, service projects, and corrective training appropriate to age and ability. Members may learn navigation, survival, emergency response, and regulated marksmanship with approved training arms. Minors are not deployed in combat, used as police or clandestine informants, or subjected to hazing, cruelty, collective punishment, or dangerous instruction. Trained adult supervision and external complaint procedures apply throughout SAG.

Leadership

The Director-General represents SAG on the Select Committee. Its four Branch Directors form the coequal program tier beneath the Director-General, while sector and local chapter officers administer activities in the field.
